I’ve always been attracted to the things that nobody sees, the things that are almost invisible. Even as a child I remember telling someone that the most important thing in life was to see how a baby blinks. In retrospect it’s quite an odd thing to say at that age.
Long afterwards, when I was working as an artist, a sculptor, I still had the desire to work with materials that were transparent or almost invisible: glass, coloured filters, barely visible veil-like meshes, transparent photographs, … invisibility as a material is no small challenge for a sculptor…
It was this fascination that eventually led to the birth of the self-development courses I first called The Secrets of Looking. The first Secrets of Looking courses were still based on the way I as an artist perceived the world. They taught people how to become aware of and deepen their relationship with the real, visible world through a refined way of looking at it. These beautifully simple observations can touch us deeply and take us back to an inner level we rarely allow ourselves to reach in our everyday lives. And yet the things we observe this way, like the small details or tiny tremblings in nature, are always present around us!
Through this irresistible attraction, I gradually turned my attention away from the tangible world, stopped my active work as a visual artist and entered the invisible world of subtle energies. My dedication to the invisible changed just about everything in my life: my belief system, my career, the country I live in, my health, …. the invisible changed my visible world. And in fact it is safe to say that it actually always does. What is invisible to the naked eye is in fact the basis and essence of everything we see and experience.

From the first Secrets of Looking I arrived at The Visible and Beyond, which is the current general title of all my activity as an intuition and energy guide, clairvoyant and coach. I am still an artist too, an artist who works with the invisible. In my courses and workshops I am driven by the deep wish to pass this knowledge on to others. Because the invisible world of energies is not only immensely fascinating and infinitely useful in our daily lives but it also connects us to the whole Universe.
